Do you have a physical location? Can I visit your retro toy store in person?
Not yet. For now Collectors Quests is mainly a virtual space, but who knows what the future holds.
How do you calculate shipping costs?
The shipping costs are calculated by Canada Post based on the dimensions and weight of the package, and where it is being shipped.
How do you determine pricing?
We have valued our collection based on current market performance. Our prices are based on a number of factors, including recent sales by online retailers, prices realized in recent vintage toy auctions, value estimates in published identification and price guides, the rarity of the item, and its condition.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept Visa, Mastercard, and PayPal.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes! Your shipping fee will be calculated upon checkout.
How do you calculate international taxes?
We only charge taxes on products that are being shipped domestically (within Canada). We do not charge taxes on international shipments - the buyer assumes responsibility for any taxes, duties and/or brokerage charges that may be incurred upon entry into the destination country.
I haven’t received my purchase yet - what do I do now?
We aim to pack and ship your items within 4 business days of your purchase, and will send you tracking information as soon as a shipping label is created. If you have checked the status of your parcel and something is amiss, please email us and we will work it out together.

Who are you?
We are a small team, primarily composed of principal collector/owner Howie (How) Meyer and assistant Shauna Taylor. How is a lifelong collector with a passion for vintage toys, antiques and collectibles, and Shauna is a history enthusiast who assists with the management of this eclectic collection. Can you appraise my antique/vintage toy?
While we are not certified to offer official appraisals, we have conducted extensive research on our own collection, which is valued based on current market performance. If you have inquiries about the value or history of a specific piece, we’re happy to share our research with you, offer guidance towards your own research, and provide input based on knowledge acquired through years of experience in this field. Will you buy my antique/vintage toy?
If you have toys and collectibles that you think fit with the theme of the collections on Collectors Quests, please fill out this form and attach photos of the objects. We will assess whether we think it’s the right fit, and get back to you via email to discuss the terms of the sale.
